I picked up an Silicognition wESP32 and programmer for an Ethernet (with POE) project since the ethernet config is listed on the ESPHome page however the latest v7 boards don’t actually work with ESPHome. The manufacture switched from LAN8720 to RTL8201 some time ago.
A feature request is outstanding - if support could be added to support the RTL8201FI network card that would be great, or just remove it from the ESPHome Ethernet page since it doesn’t work and is confusing.
