Even if this could be done via the Tuya integration, this is Cloud isn’t it? Not very attractive then.
Seems the only safe, local, solution would be the locally attached usb stick, or maybe the Hue hub?
Not even sure if the Lidl hub itself is local only, or also going the Tuya route? Would anyone have more info on that?
So I’ve just got a bunch of lamps from Lidl incl. gateway. I’ve searched and found not a fast solution to add the gateway, but I can confirm that the color-led-strip, GU10 spots (color and white) are perfectly working with HUE. The status after power-fault isn’t working like the hue and isn’t supported, but the rest looks fine and I was able to load it into HA. So If you need to get the lamps integrated, try with hue bridge.
I am using the E14 light from Lidl and its connected to Deconz with a Conbee.
I have some questions…
Is the color so bad? If i change it to RGB 255,255,0 that should be yellow but for me its green-ish?
And also when I try to use it in a script including transition it does not care about that.
Is that something that needs to be fixed from Hass or deconz?
Deconz can see the light correctly what I can see…
I’m also curious as to the experience of others with the bulbs. I’ll try transitions but what I noticed with the white bulbs (all white tones) is that they constantly seem to flicker slightly. Very annoying.
I’ve experience the same problems. Color are not so colorful like others. Also my circadian lightning isn’t smooth on these bulbs. I have cw-ww and rgb GU10 spots. The led-strip is fine from the color, but is also “flickering” when I change something
I need to get an exception list for these bulbs not to change by my circadian lightning and brightness changes…
Just checked from HUE app. Here is it smooth when I change the white-warm-tone or brightness. So in my opionion not a problem of the bulbs … some parameters for this lamps must be changed I think
i have a lidl motion sensor but can get it to work on home assistant, i’m using deconz addon with a conbee 2.
has anyone got the motion sensor working with deconz addon?
Hi, I’m new here and was searching on how to add the Lidl door-sensor to Phoscon. Suddenly there was an update in HA (deCONZ) and after the update Phoscon immediately picked up the Lidl (silvercrest) door-sensor. I do not have the other sensors, so can not test it. Hope I helped.
Hi patjuuuh, welcome. I switched from deCONZ to ZHA recently. I managed to add the lidl door sensor but it did take me quite some retries to get it paired. Have you retried several times already?
Thanks for the reply! I managed to solve the flickering. I had hardwired motion sensors still inbetween (in the toilets where I first had normal led bulbs managed by them). I had them switched to always on but they seemed to be the problem. Removing them solved the flickering.
I’m using ZHA and what I do notice is that the white toned bulbs are presented as color bulbs. They are added with a red bulb icon even though they turn on as white light. But no mather what white toned color I use with the slider the icon remains red. So also on lovelace. Hope this will be fixed.
Regarding the real color bulbs. I read that they have lesser rgb leds than white so colors are less brighter. Also a down point is that the lowest brightness of the bulbs (white or color) is too bright for me. They also to not support transitions very well when using light on or off service. Anything more then 2 seconds they seem to ignore.
Ive just purchased the E27 and paired with DeCONZ and Phoscon.
Ive found when using HA that when the color temperature is adjusted the bulb is a lot brighter then adjusting colours using the color wheel. Have others found this or is the bulb faulty?
Hi
So where you able to get the lidl silvercrest zigbee smarthub working with home assistant.
I bought one and some additonal stuff and would like to have it controlled through HA.
I bought the very last 2 E27 RGBW bulbs yesterday and they connected easily to Z2MQTT using a CC2531 stick.
I do notice a slight coil hum with one when using white and it can be difficult to get the colour red to work properly - I need to add a value of at least 2 to either the Green or Blue channel to get Red to light correctly in NodeRed to switch the bulb on/off.
The colours are really weak on the E27 bulbs that I bought… The bulbs are only good for the white IMO. You are better saving £2 and getting the White ones only.
I agree, the E27 bulbs we have bought are only bright when using the white light (warm/cool). But when using a color it is very weak. I will not buy more off those but only the white ones.
About the Lidl Motion Sensor (Silvercrest): I have finally got it working with deCONZ 2.7.1.
I had it paired with 2.5.78 but didn’t detect anything and was shown as unreachable. I had to remove it from Phoscon first.
Then pair it again. (When pairing it seems you need to have it removed from the backplate and then remove and insert the battery and wait the 30 seconds as is written in the manual). To manually disconnect it from the network it needs to be on the backplate.
I’ve noticed in the deCONZ app (the one that shows the network) that the cluster info for IAS Zone shows Standard CIE when it is not on the backplate and it shows Motion Sensor when it is on the backplate.
It shows up in HA (0.118.5) as a sensor and battery status. And in Phoscon I could use it to switch a group. However in HA the status isn’t changed when a presence is detected. It stays on status Clear for now.
