So I would like to get my daughter a smartwatch that I can install ha companion app on. I figure (unless someone could suggest a better idea) her wearing a watch she would have to keep up with it as it’s on her wrist. It would be awesome if I could do something that was inexpensive like Amazfit, but you can’t install apps on their older watches. I know that you would be able to install it on a Gear S3, but I would want to make sure that I would be able to setup device tracker entity in ha before I do that. Has anyone done this and if so please let me know. Of course if there is an alternative smartwatch (it doesn’t have to be samsung but NO apple) Thanks in advance.

Sorry, if its a samsung watch, camera it has to be galaxy watch 4 or higher. Pretty much any wearos watch that can install the companion app to.
