Simple Home Assistant Weekly Reboot automation blueprint

Open your Home Assistant instance and show the blueprint import dialog with a specific blueprint pre-filled.

Specify day of the week and time of day to regularly reboot your Home Assistant host/OS

Why scheduled reboot: A properly running Home Assistant server ought not need a frequent reboot, nor is reboot a replacement for solving issues. However, there are a lot of moving pieces in some HA installations, many of which by 3rd parties, and just like in any other computer, some of the problems are cleared via a reboot. This enables any troubleshooting to occur at the time of your choosing on a running system - not when it randomly gets frozen at 8PM on a Saturday and nothing works. If this makes sense to you, give it a shot!

Cheers!

Is there a way to restart a few times a day? My Lifix integration bombs out around 6-8 hours.

It’s certainly possible to create this same automation with a more frequent trigger, but I would say, if multiple daily reboots are required, it’s a much better idea to address that Lifix integration’s config or network to be able to reboot just once a week.

Great Script!
Do you think you could at least modify it for a daily reboot? Or to select more days then just one per week?
Would be amazing!

Million thanks in advance!
