There are so many blueprints for motion sensors and many for the Philips Hue one, but they were too confusing or overly complicated and annoying to setup.
Here is mine. It’s based on a few different blueprints I’ve found around here.
Here are the key features/differences:
- Can trigger a helper input_boolean for use in dashboards or other automations
- Can disable while an entity is on (e.g. you might not want the motion sensor while the TV is ‘on’)
- … or when an entity is off
- No need to set the ieee address, it is done automatically
- Nothing is over-complicated. Use your own addons to control things like brightness/colour temp, etc.
