Sir, Your Zooz Zen21 Switch is Dead

I have a Zooz Zen21 switch that on occasion comes up as dead when z-wave starts up (i.e after a restart/reboot) To fix it all I have to do is wait for zwave network to be started then select the option “Test Node” for that switch. Viola… All is good till the next restart.

Is there a way I can be alerted when this device comes up dead? Furthermore, is there a way I can automatically “Test Node” when zwave has started??

zwave.test_node is an available service. Therefore you should be able to automatically test it if it shows as dead.
