Site/Information to check whether OTA updates are safe to install?

Hi everyone!

I’m using Zigbee2MQTT and ocassionally it mentions that there are newer firmware versions available for my devices. In this case, two hue light strips have a new update to version “16785412” from “16785410”.

Is there a website / thread / etc. that can be checked whether these OTA updates are safe to install? I’d like to avoid installing an update that comes with unintended consequences, e.g. that disallows using the device with third party coordinators and forces me to use the Hue/Aqara whatever hubs.

Thanks,
Peter

Best bet is to check for an issue in the Z2M GitHub repo. You can also Google and find release notes for many of the firmwares.
