Skylink Sensor Triggers with IFTTT

Hi Guys,

I have some skylinknet sensors (https://www.skylinkhome.com/) that works with IFTTT. Now I want to catch the door open/close triggers and turn on/off lights with a delay. I can’t add the delay in IFTTT so I want to use Hassio. Now, do I do this with webhooks and calling the entity id in the url (shown by BRUH Automation on youtube)? Or is it better to create a binary sensor using webhooks (is it even possible?) and then using that new sensor state to create automation in Hassio?

I am by no means an expert at this and am looking for some guidance.
