Slicer to turn of solar panel energy production

More and more people have solar panels and want to switch to a energy contract with dynamic prices. If the energy prices is (very) negative you then you would like to be able to turn of the solar panels to avoid paying money for producing electicity

There is a Github project that adds a slider in home assistant to turn of the panels https://github.com/fonske/SMA_inverter_logging/blob/203849ea854db8bdc2b3904b38ee279f119b55bb/Home_Assistant_yaml/modbus_tcp_sma_noord.yaml.

Can this functionality be integraded in the Home Assistant Core so it is out of the box?

On the surface, that would need to be done by each integration separately.

It does not sound like something that would be a ‘core’ function.

Perhaps ask for this on a specific integration.
