Slimmelezer - entities not in energy dashboard

Hey guys.

I have my slimmelezer al setup and working with the esphome intergration.
( Its not in my esphome dashboard/addon tho)

But i cant get the entities in the new energy dashboard…

Any idea how to fix this?!

I have more or less the same issue.
Slimmelezer is recognized in HA, I can see the entities, but I can not add it in the energy dashboard.

Here the steps I did:

  • I added the slimmelezer to my wifi
  • Within HA it was automatically recognized, so added the integration
  • 1 device 32 entities were found, checked some of the entities and they contained values (like it is working)
  • opened Energy dashboard
  • clicked on add consumption => nothing from slimmelezer
  • clicked on add gas source => nothing from slimmelezer
  • waited a couple of hours, tried again => nothing

in the meantime HA 0S 6.3 and HA 2021.9.3 were available. updated my system, so a reboot was needed
next day (sunday morning) still nothing

I have somewhat the same issue but I actually can add the items… they just wont work because of total_increasing. which I can’t add in the entity editor under settings.

Hey guys,
Just talked to someone who is in the esphome community.

They are currently working on the dsmr part in esphome to make this work!
Currently there is no state class in the esphome dsmr

ok [confused mode on] so we have something what is announced as new intergration, purchased the hardware (slimmelezer) but until now it will not work at all [confused mode off]

Its works.
But not supported in the new energy dashboard yet.

I got all my info from my meter and it works just fine

There is a new firmware available on for the slimmelezer this fixed the energy dashboard problem!

I am new to esphome, how do I install this new firmware?

Download the firmware and download esphome flasher. Connect the slimmelezer to a pc and select the com port in the drop down menu. Also select the downloaded firmware and hit flash

thnx, found another solution, connect via browser direct to slimmelezer, there is an option to do an OTA update, and it worked.

now it is shown in energy add-on.
still strugling a little bit what choices to make to show it correctly including costs
no explanation found sofar for the ‘keep track of the costs of the consumed energy’ options
so here are my choices:
used for Grid consumption

  • Energy Consumed Tariff 1 with static price
  • Energy Consumed Tariff 2 with static price

used for Return to grid

  • Energy Produced Tariff 1 with static price
  • Energy Produced Tariff 2 with static price

used for Gas
Gas Consumed with static price

Sofar no results shown in dashboard, maybe I must be more patient (it is over 2 hours now).
So when I made the wrong choice, do I have to wait another 2 hours to see any change made?

[Update 9-9-2021] data is shown, looks like it is working
