Slow HA restarts - Security related?

First: A TREMENDOUS thank-you to the dev team for staying on top of the recent security issues! Your dedication is greatly appreciated!!

But I have noticed since 2021.1.5 / 2021.1.4, HA has been extremely slow to start. Some integrations seem start right away, while others take 5-10 minutes to start. Does this have something to do with the recent security updates? Has anyone else noticed this?

I’m experiencing the same thing and wondering if its also due to some possible security checks etc…

I used to restart very quickly but now taking 10+ minutes after updating to 2021.1.5.

Mine is still rebooting at a normal speed.

Have you checked the logs for any components that are throwing errors?

I have the same thing! Driving me nuts… Was it the update? Or is it something else, I’m also tinkering with pyscript…

Restarts taking the usual 10-15 seconds here before and after the updates.
Look in the logs, see what’s going on

No problems for me either. Probably a bit more than 15 seconds that @samnewman86 has but still not very long.

I upgraded HACS to the newest version and it went back to normal with restarts at about 15 seconds. I saw there was a loop issue in HACS so maybe that was it.
