I want to add the SMA Sunny Boy 5.0 Smart Energy SBSE5.0-50 inverter to Home Assistant, but it’s not working. I know the inverter’s IP address, and when I try 192.168.X.X in a web browser, I get ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.
I’ve also installed the SMA Device Plus via HACS.
And when I select “Interface” i have try every connection fill in all the fields, I get “Invalid authentication. Please check user/group and password.”
Could my installer give me access to the IP address?
It worked for the SMA Home Manager no problems.

For my integration (SMA Device Plus), it is essential that the local web server of the inverter is working.

I have not encountered your error pattern so far.

I’ve had first also this problem but after a few try’s
got a connection with the settings in the picture with the correct IP adress and password.
