Any idea what the cheapest and best device for a small display to show a dashboard would be? And how one would set it up to automatically go to the dashboard upon boot, like kiosk mode? I wanted something like those little displays that show the temperature for the wireless temperature sensors, for displaying temperature sensors that are in home assistant, but a small cheap device that can be made to automatically open a home assistant dashboard to see the temperature and doesn’t require any interaction. I was thinking a small cheap tablet that I can make open up to home assistant upon boot somehow.
A cheap/old Android phone? No SIM required if it’s on Wi-Fi.
If you use the Fully Kiosk Browser you can set it to display HA on boot, and you can exclude all the dashboards except the one you want.
