Hi, I’m quite new to HA, but here’s a little Blueprint to control your AC on and off depending on the room temperature. In my case, I based it on a Sensibo Sky. But maybe it can be applied to other ACs too, who knows. Hope it helps someone.
Automates AC control based on room temperature, with adjustable on/off thresholds and target cooling temperature.
This is nice, thanks, however the entity field doesn’t work. Is it me?
Hello bernfort,
Thanks for contributing to the community with a new Blueprint.
I have a suggestion for you. Many people who are not familiar with directory structures will have problems installing this without the Home Assistant MY tools.
Adding a MY link for this Blueprint to your top post would help them a lot.
Here is the link to make that.

Great blueprint! Maibe in a new version let it control with an other tempature sensor instead of the built in A/C for a better heating experience?
Edit:
Gree works with hvac_mode: cool as going on state (also with going off), i don’t get it to work yet. .
If i use the blueprint to use the “cool” state, it wont work. With “hvac_mode: cool” it wont start for this blueprint either. An automation with “hvac_mode: cool” works fine.
Need to take an eye on it what i am doing wrong.
