Hi! I recently had the idea of a seamless door closer. Most of the stuff available online uses the bulky mechanisms (ex. Olide). Instead, I was thinking about something that could be cheaper, renter friendly, and easy to install.
I thought about the garage door hinge style auto closers, like this
Instead of using a spring loaded system, maybe a motorized system with an ESPHome controller could work.
This is just an idea, I haven’t prototyped anything yet, and I honestly don’t have the skills to build something like this. So I wanted to ask the community for ideas/input.
