Smart Home Automation for INTEX Spas – WiFi & MQTT Control!

Hello everyone,

I come from the Jeedom forum to present the system I have developed for automating INTEX brand spas.

A home automation system is absolutely necessary, such as:

  • Jeedom
  • Gladys
  • OpenHab
  • Domoticz
  • Home Assistant (several HA users have contacted me through the Jeedom forum to obtain this system).

It is a box that connects to the spa’s original connectors to retrieve information such as temperature and status, and to control it.

Therefore, there is no loss of warranty as nothing is modified on the spa.

There are four fully compatible spa models:

Functions of my system:

  • Spa ON/OFF
  • Bubbles ON/OFF
  • Water filtration ON/OFF
  • Water heating ON/OFF
  • Water temperature information
  • Water temperature setpoint from 20°C to 40°C
  • Error information (E90 or others in French)

For the SJB-HS-20-1C:

Two additional functions are available:

  • Sanitizer
  • Water jets

Spas with detachable wireless tablets are not compatible (those that can be placed on the edge of the spa, for example).

The system is based on a Wemos D1 mini pro (with external antenna for long range).

The Wemos programming is done by me.

I have, of course, designed a tutorial to easily enter this information into my system.

New since June 2024, easy integration in a few seconds thanks to automatic configuration:

If you want to see the evolution of my system since I started manufacturing it (summer 2021), it has evolved a lot since then:

Since 2020, the system is priced at €70, including shipping (in France) via Colissimo with tracking number. 85€ for the rest of the world.

When I have systems ready to ship, I can send them as soon as I have all the information.
However, when I am out of supplies, delays can be up to one month.

If I am out of stock, I will put you on the list and get back to you in chronological order.

If you have any questions, I am available here or on the Jeedom forum or home Assistant France

I don’t have a spa but I do have a question. Why are you using such massive power resistors for such small signals?

It was in 2021 when all electronic components were impossible to find, now it’s 1/4W
