WANTED: mobile, via Home Assistant controllable lighting without continuous power.
I have neither light nor power supply (socket) in a corner, but would like to illuminate it for a short time when staying in the area (classic night situation). Like a stationary flashlight, controllable via Home Assistant. Motion detector, below mentioned hardware + ZigBee/WiFi is available, only: what can the light source or especially the smart control unit look like?
The illumination does not have to be strong or large.
I thought e.g. of USB LED lamps like in the picture (random: https://www.amazon.de/Stück-USB-Lampe.../dp/B07WR99K28). A powerbank as power source would also be there, the occasional recharging is something i probably could live with. But: how do I get a wireless controllable/in HA integrable component into the game, which in this example transmits the command “ON/OFF” as an “intermediate plug” between USB LED lamp and powerbank? I initially was thinking about the ZigBee protocol because it´s just extremely energy efficient, but so far know I did not come across any control unit for my use case …
Or do you have completely different ideas that lead to the same goal? I am NOT a hobbyist, so rather avoid electrical engineering stuff. Still… what ideas do you guys have? How would you handle the thing?
