Anyone have any lock recommendations that are fully functional within home assistant? I currently have the non compliant Schlage connect zwave locks. They worked perfectly in SmartThings, but are useless in home assistant. Ideally I would need correct status of the lock at all times, ability to lock and unlock, and a door sensor is a really nice bonus. I’m considering the ultraloq pro or the Yale assure 2 (Bluetooth for now the. Zwave when available), but one hearing mixed compatibility with both.
I’m using the native ZHA integration in Home Assistant with my Zigbee deadbolt from Schlage. When I installed it many months ago, I got the distinct impression they were discontinuing Zigbee in favor of Z-Wave. It was nearly impossible to get the Zigbee BE468, except from Amazon, who had them in stock.
Recently shifted from a Sonoff RF-Bridge Zigbee wifi gateway to a fully native Sonoff USB Dongle Plus Gateway, and response times and reliability have become excellent.
