I’m searching for a smart lock for my new house for quite a long time. At the beginning, there was almost nothing that would integrate well with HA and worked the correct way for me. Now within the latest products there are some interesting locks which I’m considering.
The Tedee GO looks as another good option. The WiFi bridge is needed for HA integration, but the price of both products isn’t a lot higher compared to the Linus L2. The minus here are for me the expensive CR123 batteries. https://tedee.com/product-info/tedee-go-best-keyless-access/
I considered the Nuki Smart Lock Ultra (not the YaleLinus/Tedee), but eventually settled for the Nuki smart lock 4.0 Pro. I believe it has the same features as the ultra, but can fit on existing cylinders (with the disadvantage it is bigger than the ultra).
I wanted to keep my cylinders, because I want one key that allows the opening of all the doors at my house (5 in total). And I don’t need 5 smart locks.
I have the Nuki since November, and I am still happy with it. Battery is doing well also.
Thanks for sharing the experience. I actually need to change the cylinders, since the one I have can’t be unlocked if another key is inserted from the other side. That means that I wouldn’t be able to unlock the door with the normal key from outside anymore.
I have two of the ones you list. My observations.
Both are very good and reliable. However, they are a little different. Tedee small, agile and fast. The battery holds up well. The Nuki looks good, but it is definitely louder and slower. After a year of use, both locks work perfectly. Both locks are integrated into the HA.
Go for Nuki ultra!

This is useful. Go to bed alarm locks door.
Out of bed. Alarm turn off, lock unlocks. (Not unlatch!) so u can use door with door nop.

Battery is really good. I got it connected via HA over matter/thread and an Apple TV 4K.
Works like a charme.
It comes with an adjustable cilinder and 3 keys.
But you buy this to not use the key! Right?!
But, you can even buy extra cilinders for the same key if you want. For the whole house.
@realm when you connect via Matter, does this include only one entity? Or which functionalities are provided via Matter? Do you still need/use the Nuki app?
