Hello, I have a USB-A port on one of my power strips. It’s in a relatively small space, and when I need the device unplugged, it’s difficult to do so. I am looking for a USB-A adapter that can be switched on and off using Home Assistant, preferably over WiFi. I came across a project online that does this: Switching an USB load on or off using the Sinilink XY-WFUSB and ESPHome — Rudd-O.com , but I am not sure I have the proper tools or skills to modify this. However, if I could, I would flash it with ESPHOME and connect it to Home Assistant. If anyone could find a similar product that worked out of the box, that would be amazing. Thank You.
Hello JEMcats,
Try the Sonoff Micro.

A lot of Zigbee power strips have USB sockets which can be toggled on and off like the power sockets. Usually, though, all the USB sockets have to be toggled at once - you can’t control them individually.
