Hi,
I have some Brilliant Smart outdoor lights that contain Smart WiFi LED GU10 RGB globes.
see: https://brilliantlighting.com.au/product/smart-wifi-led-gu10-rgb-plus-warm-white-globe-11cfb0
I can access them via the Brilliant Smart app, and also Google Home detected them and can control them. However HA cannot see them.
I am trying to find a way to either:
Flash them to use Tasmota or ESPHome.
An alternative GU10 globe that I can control in HA.
Any help is appreciated.
Assuming they’re Tuya based Tuya-Convert may work to change to Tasmota/ESPHome, if their firmware hasn’t been updated. If it doesn’t work I think the only option to flash Tasmota/ESPHome is to crack them open and flash over serial.
Local Tuya may be another option for you if they can’t be flashed.
Lifx has been reliable with HA for me as an alternative.

cheers @scotty1395
As i only have 4 bulbs, i think I’ll just make the jump over to LIFX now, rather than the whole flash thing.

I just got a LIFX RBG GU10 bulb from Bunnings. Intergated straight into HA with no fuss. Thanks for the heads up!
I use Shelly DUO RGB GU10s, they will work with the Shelly HA integration, but I flashed them to Tasmota then to ESPHOME with:
They are longer than standard GU10 bulbs though (they don’t look like their website picture)
EDIT: Just noticed you’re all sorted with LIFX
