Impressive!
I would love to be able to control our induction stove that way.
I would have mounted a thermometer and/or a vibration sensor on the stove to use while boiling stuff to let the microcontroller keep it boiling but not boil over.
actually this particular stove has a thermal sensor routed to the board. I suspect it is possible to read it with ADC on the microcontroller (it just a variable ohmic resistance depending on the conductor temperature), but I am not sure how to not mess up with oven’s controller doing its own sensing.
If there is schematic available for your stove or you can see some sensor contacts. Perhaps you may be able to hook them up?
I’m quite sure that won’t be appreciated if she comes home while the stove is in pieces.
It’s usually no problem when things is done, then she usually likes the things I do but the time in between…
