A while back I transitioned from using the IOT Tuya integration to the Smartlife integration, which worked well for a while. The Smartlife integration simply required me entering a code from the Smartlife App and detected all devices. Recently, the integration has been failing, “Failed to Setup”, requiring the app code again. Today I noticed I noticed the integration is no longer listed on the HA Integrations site. Was it discontinued?

Same issue, especially since the update from March 6. Had to revert to 2025.03.3 to have Energy Tab working again.
I tried to migrate to Tuya integration, but sensors showed all missing. So went back to the backup with smartlife integration.
Looks like this Tuya/smartlife has become a mess for many of us. Is there a Smartlife to Tuya migration procedure available ?
I dont want to completely rewrite my automations and config file because all sensors will be renewed with other names… i’m not good enought for that

I have devices listed under Tuya and SmartLife. I’ve had the one camera that is in the Tuya app working well with the Tuya integration for a few days now. Tonight, I tried to add the code for the items in my SmartLife config and sure enough, they were added. Problem: the camera integration was unloaded. So now I have to choose between the Tuya device or the SmartLife devices to be available to HA, but I can’t run both at the same time. Is this something that can be fixed in the integration or do I have to migrate all my SmartLife stuff to Tuya or vice versa to get it all working in HA?
guys, you dont need the smart life intergration to use smartlife app, you can use the tuya intergration with smartlife app as i do, and yes still enter code and your done
works with smartlife app, all the variants of tuya app such as smartlife and a few Chinese other are actually the same, with different UI, ha wont know the difference tbh
Did you try to join devices from Tuya Smart and SmartLife into one Tuya integration? I did, but unsuccessfully.
I have 10 Tuya Smart app devices in HA Tuya integration. Runing long time without problem.
Now I tryed to add others 2 SmartLife app devices into the same HA Tuya integration. I supposed that adding New Hub to the Tuya integration the additional devices will appear here.
Yes, they appeared, but previous 10 devices from the original hub disappeared and hub was empty! I had to delete all hubs and again to add the first hub as the new one.
Did you anybody experienced with adding more hubs to the Tuya integration?
honestly no, i run ha on rapsberry pi that using dual network setup so my tuya hub, homekit hubs, etc, all hubs are hard coded in my config yaml and set to use a specific network. find it to be more stable that way.
Hello All i had the exact same problem and i solve it…
1st Remove your Air condition from the smartlife app
2nd go to Tuya smart app
3rd press the + to add a device and choose Large home appliance and then the Air condition with the wifi
Now its the tricky part. Choose your wifi and then confirm that the indicator is blinking. Now my Air Condition had 2 methods to add Method 1 by CF and method 2 By AP. Choose the AP method and press in tuya the Blink Slowly button follow the instraction an there you are
