Smartthings configuration issue:
Running Hass as the preconfigured vm. I Installed smartthings and it went well following the guides. UNTIL… i realized i used the wrong account. I used mine instead of another one. That’s no big deal right?! HA… Yes, after each step i rebooted the ENTIRE vm.
- Deleted the Smartthings integration - rebooted - error that the webhook is invalid
- Saw the script to remove all instances and to fix the issue (as the developer said - oh you should remove it from smartthings first –)… can’t run the python script as you have no OS availability to run CLI commands … tried doing it from windows as suggested and that didn’t work.
- Tried other forum posts to remove the smartthings folder in config (it just recreates it).
- Went to smartthings and said “remove everything” … it removes everything but the organization and same error still.
- Smartthings app? As others have said - no option to remove anything there and now after step 4, it doesn’t show anything.
- Okay…Lets reinstall the vm completely…destroyed it and recreated it and it automatically pulled the webhook in again with the same error.
- With new build, ensured that the proxy and config files were reset to allow the ssl to work correctly again.
- Turned off the vm for a day to see if it would time itself out…NOPE
- Looked at doing a full debian vm with Hass installed and found it STILL wants the docker container (which is silly).
SmartThings will be configured to send push updates to Home Assistant at:
https://xyz.ddns.net/api/webhook/ea49da41644de7efbd068da76aa0a0e69039f0a9d2
If this is not correct, please update your configuration, restart Home Assistant, and try again.
So i can’t add a smartthings integration, can’t get the webhook out… as it isn’t being seen anywhere…
Any thoughts on this as I’m stumped and without the smartthings integration HA Is useless for 1/2 of my devices and most zigbee, zwave, lutron want smartthings or another type of hub.
