Smartthings Integration behind Wireguard VPN on Unraid

I run my HA via a Docker container on my local Unraid server. The way I access my HA instance is via a static IP. I can also access this remotely via my Unraid server utilizing Wireguard VPN, which allows me to essentially see all my local Docker containers as if I was on my LAN.

However, I also just purchased a new Samsung washer and dryer that utilize SmartThings. However, when I try to add the integration, it tells me that I must have a remote accessible URL such that SmartThings can ‘call into’ my HA instance.

However, since I have my Wireguard setup as stated above, I only have one port forwarded on my router, which is the VPN traffic, and am hesitant to open up anything else. I have a NoIP docker container which acts as my dynamic dns updater as well - so that any external IP address changes is picked up and routed to my network.

I’m assuming that most people using the SmartThings integration have some port forwarded to their HA instance, or just utilize Nabu Casa?

I also realize that there are Zigbee/Zwave 220v outlets that people utilize to determine dryer cycles, but I’d like to exhaust the SmartThings integration before moving forward.

Any help is appreciated.

Hey man this has been 2 years since, but have you found a solution for this, i am also running a VPN to get access to internal network, did you managed to go with this or you had to open a port for the webhook ?
