Smartthings Multipurpose Sensor - Garage Door

I picked up a few of the smartthings multipurpose sensors on sale and added them using the ZHA and can access the sensor information.

I know the main sensor can be used on it’s own as a garage door sensor when it is rotated by 90 degrees. Does anyone know how to make this work in Home Assistant? One of the sensors is an accelerometer and will report while it is moving. This makes sense but how do you configure it to know when the door has moved to the open position or closed?

No Never unfortunately.

I just use these sensors mainly for the temperature reporting at the moment. It would be nice to use the tilt function for the garage doors though
