SmartThings still requesting PAT although it's not needed since 2025.3

Since June 2025, the Samsung SmartThings PAT expires every 24 hours, making it impossible to keep the integration working on Home Assistant.

Presumably, since 2025.3 the PAT is no longer needed, yet my integration keeps requesting it.

I’m running 2025.9.1
What am I missing here?

5 months of Home Assistant updates, maybe?
If you are running core, make that 3 months because support ended with 2025.12.x.

Thanks for the reply, but as mentioned, I’m on 2025.9.1, and PAT on Samsung SmartThings is no longer needed since 2025.3

It’s solved.

HA was loading the previous HACS integration even though I removed it and added it again. The steps to force the new integration to be loaded were:

  • Remove integration (including from HACS)
  • Restart HomeAssistant
  • Add integration again
