Same issue here as well.

It is working fine for me. I believe I had an issue with this integration last month. When I logged in to the app it made me change my password. After uninstalling and reinstalling the integration to update my password, it started working again.

Have you updated smartthinq to the current version? cchardet was removed in v0.31.5.

I installed 5.2
When I start Smarttinq, I got the notification: : 500 Internal Server Error Server got itself in trouble

I Deinstalled LGE smarttinq sensors. Reboot the Home assistant and tried to install the Smarttinq again.
I got the same notification: : 500 Internal Server Error Server got itself in trouble

My Bad.

Found the updates in HACS.

After updating Smarttinq , everything works well
