I am seeing that after upgrading to 0.113, my snapshots have a minor size respect to the ones created before. After i had snapshots always around 320Mb and now only 87Mb. The only difference is i deleted sonarr addon.
Opening the .tar archive i can see there are all the files, but cannot understand why the size is so little…
Have you been monitoring your HA database size lately?
There were some major improvements to this.
Yers, but it seems having the same size as before… What major improvements? Where to have tips?
Read the release notes.
Yes, thanks, but where? release notes of what?
"Let’s start with an important notice for upgrading to Home Assistant Core 0.112.
This release has changes to the database format of Home Assistant. On upgrade, it will be migrated to the new format.
Depending on the size of your database and the performance of the hardware you run Home Assistant on, this migration process could add additional time to the first time starting after the upgrade. For most of us, this adds just a couple of minutes, but if you have an enormous database (for example, 30+ GiB), it might take an hour or maybe even two.
So, don’t panic if Home Assistant doesn’t come up immediately."
Oh yes, i already read that, but the strange is a snapshot i did after upgrading to 0.112 had the same size of the previous with 0.111. Only now with 0.113 i am having shorter snapshots…
Do you use Deconz addon?
Firmware are now removed from snapshot in 6.0 and after
No, i don’t use Deconz addon.
