SNIPS usable in Hass.io?

Hi

Still interested to use Snips with HA, I had a terrible experience with it months ago (installation was a nightmare on Raspberry and to get it working with HA was yet more complicated and a pain in the *ss so I gave up at that time).
I have now switched to hassio system for HA and I noticed I can install SNIPS with it easily ! Does it work ? some successful setup ? is it possible to link to it some satellites ? (I have some Respeaker board with Pi Zero to do the satellites !). Is it doing automatically the SNIPS/HA integration ? or it still a nightmare ?
Side note: noticed it can’t be installed on my system (unless it’s a raspberry Pi 3+ that is native platform for SNIPS !) unless I have well an MQTT broker installed too and linked to HA ! Is it normal ?

Thanks for your feedback

Vincèn

Since the last update of the hass.io addon to version 5.1 i am able to test snips in german.
The first tests are working, but i have to figfure out how to teach SNIPS special names like “tannenbaum”…

Thanks for confirmation  Are you running Hassio on Pi 3 B+ ? On mine Hassio indicates me SNIPS as being incompatible with my platform and so can’t install it :frowning:

oh you have to train it, it’s all explained here: Quick Start Console | Latest Platform Version | Snips Dev Center
