I couldn’t find a micro switch to monitor a latch on a birdcage to make sure it was closed properly. I modified a SNZB-04 with a micro switch and found it worked well. Sharing it here but if someone else has found something out of the box better or used better parts that would be good to know.
This is the prototype and a couple of final things to neaten it and make it 100% but it worked exactly as needed. Didn’t remove the magnetic switch yet and just wired in parallel.
