So many hubs, too many objects in HA

So I am pretty new to Hassbian, but have a several back-end hub platforms and need some directional advice.

  • I have Hassbian running on a Pi on a 3B+.

  • I have an ATV4 which serves as a HomeKit hub and has both an Ecobee 3, and Chamberlain MyQ Bridge tied into it.

  • I have a VeraPlus hub for my z-wave devices. I also have some of the same devices reporting into it as home kit and HA.

Is it better to have, where possible, all devices ONLY connected into HA (ecobee, etc.) and NOT reporting into ATV, Vera, etc?

My thought is I would like to use Siri as the voice interface into HA once I get to that phase (still doing groups/views and getting ready to start working on automation).

Thanks for help from the experts.

It is all a matter or personal opinion.

For myself Im making sure that Im as tightly integrated with hass as possible; the closer to the device hass is the better without sacrificing quality of implementation.
