I’m using solar assistant and it updates it’s daily PV production each hour. The energy dashboard also updates each hour. But my energy dashboard is an hour behind on the production. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how have you fixed it? I’m wondering if I should turn of the internet time sync on my inverter and then manually set the time for a couple minutes fast. I’m using a Sol-Ark 8k. I don’t know if it updates hourly based on inverter time, or Solar assistant time, or real time. Any help would be appreciated.
Did you check the timezone of both your inverter and HA instance?
Yes, both time zones are correct. When looking at the MQTT data, it looks like it updates up to 1 minute after Home Assistant gets the data, which is too late for the autogenerated graph. That’s why I wanted to verify when Solar Assistant updated the values. Is solar Assistant calculating the hourly production numbers or is it coming from the inverter? Whichever is generating that hourly number, I think I need to change the time to a minute fast so I can capture the number on the hour. Or maybe set my home assistant instance a minute slow/

Okay, I just verified that Solar Assistant is doing the calculations. It is generating an always increasing value each hour and resets once a week. I set my Solar assistant time to two minutes fast, while my inverter and home assistant times are synced to internet. When Home assistant creates the Energy chart, it is now getting the values that I need on the hour.
This also happens to me, but only from time to time i had noticed something wrong. Will try your method
