i have a small PV-system. I measure the output with a shelly pm mini. I also measure the total energy consumption from our house with a Shelly 3PM. Unfortunately the PV is located behind the 3PM so if i produce 0.8 kw of energy an have a consumption of 1 kw the 3PM measure a “House consumption” of only 0.2 kw.
Is there a possibility to fix this?
I think the setup is correct that way. The only thing left to do is a sensor which shows the export, because at some point you will export and then you want your house consumption to add up correctly.
ok i found another error in the configuration of my inverter. Now i produce more than i need (not in total).
I like this graphic showing how much i use, produce, … in total. Is there a similar on for a live view?
@JohnFLoki: Do you have a link or something where i can see how to setup what you mentioned?
For the other sensors you need to set up template sensors or utility meters, depending on what sensors you have. Can you Post an image of your shelly device in Home Assistant? Also do you have a smart meter already?
Ok I think the Total active energy and Total returned energy should be differentiated correctly, so just add returned energy to the grid export setting and everything should work fine.
Also you need to add both devices’ energy sensors to the dashboard for the right sum. That is of course only if you want both floors to be shown together.
You can also use the Energy Flow Card Plus for seperate consuption cards on your custom dashboard.
