Solar Integration

For those of you that have solar arrays and integrated that info into HA what all are you doing with it other than just displaying it?

I use it to:

  1. dynamically toggle the lights during the day
    I created it back in the time that I didn’t have a LUX meter and I am still very pleased with the function of it. It toggles lights when the power is below a certain level during a certain time and vice versa. Created helpers so they can be easily adjusted my anyone in the house.

  2. set the brightness of certain lights (like the toilet light) so it has a comfortable brightness for your eyes when entering or leaving;
    This one is mainly just because I can and for fun.

  3. to monitor the highest peak, just for fun :smiley:
