I need solar tracker/helper for how much kWh a have left from starting day like first day at new year. Need some info that i dont give excess energy to power company.
Now i must go to energy panel and click starting date and last day for info
I am not sure what you want but I you want to see your consumtion in a date range set up the energy dashboard like described here (with Solar Net you mean Fronius?). Or if you want a resetting sensor create an Utility Meter (and an template sensor if you need) with the fitting reset option or an automation that resets when you want it to.
In some country in Europe we have solar panels and the sun produce energy. If you have excess solar the electric Bill is 0€ end of the year, if you spend more you pay more to electic company and if you have excess end of the year you give them for free. So need some meter that show me the from SOME DAY TO THIS TIME TODAY if i have excess to spend or not that i know that i not giwing them the excess energiy that i produce and not spend.
So: Some day in calendar is start: Solar production - house spend = + /- energy
Now you must go in energy dasbord chouse some day + the last today day and you see the energy you have.
HA must have some left energy meter in energy dashboard
Ah ok because of the capitalisation of Solar Net I thought you meant SolarNet from Fronius. Now I know you mean net metering.
So what you want is a sensor that shows the current balance of your net import - net export?
You can make two Utility Meters, one for export one for import, and then create a template sensor to subtract them or use a template card on you dashboard if you just want the vaue. If the billing cycle starts again you can reset the Meters with the utility_meter.reset action.
Because you probably start from inside the cycle you can calibrate the Utility Meters with the utility_meter.calibrate action.
