Solar Power Forecast, how to deal with multiple areas?

Hi all

I’m looking for an integration that supports more than a single area of a roof. All my PV modules are connected to a single converter.

  • One area is located in the southwest with two different angles of inclination
  • One area is located in the northeast with two different angles of inclination

There are 4 different areas to consider for the forecast. All the integrations I’ve found only support a single area. Any ideas?

Solcast (hacs integration) supports 2 installations on 1 hobbyist account. The integration supports multiple accounts….(but not allowed by Solcast though….)
So (1+1) x 2 =4 :wink:

Solcast gives very accurate forecasts. Drawback is that one account is restricted to 10 api calls per day (so 5 per installation).

The default forecast.solar can have multiple arrays. Just configure a new service.
Open Meteo also has one with multiple arrays for free
