Solar power not reading correctly in energy dashboard

So on my main page, I created a card that gives a quick overview of what my solar panels are doing: daily power generation as well as current power generation. This works and is accurate with what the FusionSolar (it’s Huawei) portal is giving.

In the Energy dashboard, however, it’s giving completely different values in the overview and I have no clue where it’s even getting them from.

This is how I have it set up:

I have no idea if that’s correct because the documentation about this is, quite frankly, completely unclear. For the non-Dutch folks, the top field is filled in with the “daily generation” entity, the second field with the “currently being generated” entity.

Going off of the descriptors under the fields, my common sense is telling me that “currently being generated” should be in the top field, but that entity doesn’t show up in the dropdown list there, despite it meeting all the requirements when I open the support page that’s in that dropdown list.

Just to eliminate any possibilities as far as integration quality goes, this is also the second FusionSolar integration I’ve tried out to get these entities, both giving the exact same results. The one I’m using now is FusionSolarPlus by jortvanschijndel, before that it was Fusion Solar by tijsVerkoyen.

Basically I’m at my wit’s end with this. I set up the energy dashboard last year and I swear I just had to give it my “currently being generated” entity, and it would just work. I tried looking at alternatives in HACS, but pretty much all the ones I found required having actual knowledge of electrical systems, which I don’t have. The ease of use of the built-in energy dashboard is the major draw for me, or at least it used to be. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I didn’t enter the second field and didn’t predict production:

What different values are you seeing in the overview? Screenshots of both your own and the energy dashboard would help.

What you added is mostly correct, the energy counter (top field) however should be the lifetime total, not jsut the daily yield. Usually your inverter exposes that sensor as well

I see it. Added second field too. That’s the current production. Now the graphic on the energy summary is also complete overhere. Thanks.

Either sensor works equally there. Hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or lifetime all work for total.

Aha ok, then I stand corrected, didn’t know that

So these are the correct values:

And what the energy dashboard is showing, is this:

Also the graph at the bottom consistently says that I used 100% of my generated power, but I’ve only used about a third of it today, so that info is also incorrect.

I tried changing the daily generated to lifetime generated, but it made no difference.
