Solar thermal energy input

I have a solar thermal system installed which I want to include as an input into my HA Energy Manager.
In my case the energy in hot water (kWh) generated by the solar system saves on gas consumption.
In an ideal world Solar inputs would be either PV or thermal but in the meanwhile I want to add it as a non-fossil fuel input as shown in this HA blog (Energy Management in Home Assistant - Home Assistant)

However in my set up (core-2021.12.10) there isn’t a non-fossil fuel input option only “Solar Panels”. As this is clearly for Solar PV, does anybody know where the feature shown above can be found?

That’s the CO2 Signal integration. It just shows what portion of your grid consumption comes from renewable sources.

So that means a PR to get Solar PV updated to Solar PV/Thermal ?

Yes.

OK I’ve added a feature request Energy Management Solar PV input to extend to Solar Thermal. Pls can you close this thread?
