SolarEdge API error

Yesterday I installed the latest version of HA 2026.10.0 and now the SolarEdge integration no longer works. I get an configuration error and opening the direct api link (https://monitoringapi.solaredge.com/site/1959677/details?api_key=XXX) shows me the following text:

{“type”:“about:blank”,“title”:“Scheduled V1 deprecation window”,“status”:503,“detail”:“The V1 Monitoring API is retired on 2026-11-01. This is a scheduled window, not an outage. Sign up and migrate at https://developer.solaredge.com/ - migration guide: Migrating from V1 to V2 | 1 - Developer Platform Docs”}

On the mentioned developer site I created an account and an API which gave me an client id and secret code, but entering the first in HA didn’t solve anything.
Before deleting my current integration in HA I want to make sure there is not something else causing this issue.

Addition: The upgrade document of SolarEdge shows how to migrate (which has to be done within the code of the HA SolarEdge addon, I suppose): Migrating from V1 to V2 | 1 - Developer Platform Docs

Oke… just of now the connection was restored. However the V1 API will be obsolete as of 1 November 2026. So an update of the integration is still required.

Also got a non-working API towards solaredge and found this issue when searching for answers and, possibly, solutions.
I have a 2 inverter system and integrations to a few different flows in HA and was very disturbed finding it doesn’t work any more. I started applying for a developer login (all new stuff) but was caught reading the agreement and simply won’t put up with that nonsense.
I solved my lost SolarEdge integration by following the procedure “Inverters without a display” on this page: SolarEdge Modbus - Home Assistant
My inverter with the connected SolarEdge Meter device is an SE8K-RW0TEBNN4.
I’ve added Modbus integration in HA as well as SolarEdge Modbus integration and it all seems to work fine now. Remains to point at the SolarEdge Modbus provided sensors in my old integrations, but I think it will work just fine.

Edited:
Not sure you’ll be able to get instant measurements if you haven’t got the SolarEdge Meter addition.
