SolarEdge determine if clipping power

Hi, I am using the excellent SolarEdge Modbus Multi plugin, and i’m trying to work out the best way to determine if solar power is being clipped…
e.g. battery is full, and solar generated - home use > export limit
if this condition happens then power is wasted, and I would like to turn on immersion heater…

I notice when my export is hitting the max the “Active Power Limit” drops from 100%, but I also see that drop sometimes in the middle of the night when charging happens.

Should I just use “solar generated - power use - export > 0” then clipping is happening?
or any better solution?

If the inverter is clipping then you’ll see the inverter in I_STATUS_THROTTLED state for entity sensor.solaredge_i1_status:

If you have multiple inverters repeat that for iX where X is the other inverter numbers.
