SolarEdge Modbus Multi and modbus-proxy

Hi,

I have installed modbus-proxy because I have a solaredge PV system, but I want to access the data with HA and EVCC.
I have set up modbus-proxy as follows:

upstreamhost: 192.168.1.73 address inverter
upstreamport: 1502 Port inverter
network: 502

I have set the following for evcc:
host: 192.168.1.47 # address of HA
port: 502 # Port

This is how evcc works.

How do I have to set up SolarEdge Modbus Multi now?
If I enter the IP and port of modbus-proxy, it does not work. If I enter the IP of the inverter, it works.

As I understand it, however, the IP of Modbus-proxy should be entered, as with evcc.

ich habe modbus-proxy installiert, da ich eine solaredge PV-Anlage habe, mit HA und EVCC die Daten aber abgreifen möchte.
modbus-proxy habe ich wie folgt eingestellt:

upstreamport: 1502 Port Wecheselrichter
network: 502

Bei evcc habe ich folgendes eingestellt:

So funktioniert evcc.

Wie muss ich denn jetzt SolarEdge Modbus Multi einrichten?
Wenn ich die IP und port von modbus-proxy eingebe, funktioniert es nicht. Gebe ich die IP des Wechselrichters ein, funktioniert es.

NAch meinem Verständnis sollte aber doch die IP von Modbus-proxy eingegeben werden, wie auch bei evcc.

I set it up exactly that way and it works fine.

  1. Proxy up stream host is pointing at SE inverter IP
  2. Evcc is polling proxy IP
  3. Modbus Multi is also polling proxy IP
    I think it is important that you disable all three components, restart the inverter, and then first start the addon to allow it to connect to SE inverter first. Once this connection is established you can start EVCC and Modbus Multi
