[SOLVED] Add "Icon" configuration variable to Lovelace Light Card

Small request…

I’d just like to be able to swap out the icon on the Light Card in Lovelace.

Example:

cards: - type: light entity: light.living_room_lamp_left name: Left Lamp icon: mdi:lamp

This doesn’t work, because the light card doesn’t support changing the icon.

if your light has the icon configured in its original setup the lovelace card will bring that icon across
