[Solved] Hass.io not finding my Harmony Hub Devices

Hello,

I’ve just setup my new Harmony Hub and I’m trying to plug it with my Hass.io setup. I have auto_discovery on and it found my hub and created the .conf file but it’s not pulling any of my devices or activities. Here’s what I have in my .conf file:

 Activities
  -1 - PowerOff

Device Commands

Any help on what could go wrong is appreciated !

Hi
Setting up Harmony does not automatically turn Hassio into a new remote, but you can use input select to switch to turn on or off your devices, here is a link to a previous post on how to set it up.

He was saying his .conf file hadn’t generated properly.

Yes indeed, I can see the Harmony Hub switch in my dashboard but the .conf file is not listing the devices or the activities.

Sorry Bobby it is Monday after all!

No problems, I’ve solved it by removing the .conf file and rebooting my Hass.io instance and the file was re-created with all the devices and activities. Didin’t cross my mind to just delete it.

For future reference, you can also call ‘remote.harmony_sync’ from the dev-service tab without needing to delete or reboot.

Ah nice to know, noted, thanks !
