[SOLVED] Home Assistant in SmartThings

Hello HomeAssistant-Community,

it is well known on how to integrate your existing SmartThings devices into HomeAssistant. I’d like to reverse that and add entities from HomeAssistant into SmartThings.

My use case is that Samsung rolled out Android 13 with OneUI 5.0 with a feature called “Modes and Routines” which lets you run fine grained “automations” on your Samsung device which is taylored to a Galaxy-Device and is therefore able to do a couple of things that HA cannot accomplish.
I did not find a way to trigger anything in HA with said routines. The only thing I can see is to trigger something in SmartThings. That’s the reason for my question.

Does anyone have experience with this?

I found a solution using virtual switches.

By following this “Tutorial” (Section 2: No Hub) I was able to create virtual switches using the SmartThings® API Browser+ (pinsky.us). These are controllable using the Samsung Routines. Afterwards you just have to add the SmartThings Integration
