(solved) Lightwaverf - Wireless switches no longer seen? [RFXtrx,RFXCOM]

Hi all,

Up until about Home Assistant 2021.6 (it could have been earlier…sorry!) update (currently 6.4). My LightwaveRF 5 button Mood switch was working fine. Which I used to trigger automations/scenes. Via ser2net on a Pi.

LightwaveRF, Siemens f29af0:16

platform: event
event_type: rfxtrx_event
event_data:
  packet_type: 20
  sub_type: 0
  id_string: f29af0:16
  values:
    Command: Mood5

As I am not always the first, or last to use the switch in a day. It took a while to be told that the LightwaveRF switch had stopped working. (The wife had been using the App and not telling me  )

I tried replacing the the battery…no change.
I set:

RFXtrx: debug
homeassistant.components.rfxtrx: debug

but couldn’t see anything from the switch! I had spare 2 button switch…same (no output).
I can could see plenty of noisy other devices…but not my switch(es)

Also not sure how relevant…but from the startup:
[RFXtrx] Status: Status [subtype=433.92MHz, firmware=5, output_power=28, devices=['ac', 'arc', 'oregon', 'x10']] Doesn’t mention LightwaveRF? Which I think is ad ?

Other devices on the RFXCOM integration are working fine (Oregon Scientific) and I can also send LightwaveRF commands to light modules via HA.
The switch can still control LightwaveRF modules directly!

If I plug the USB RFXcom device into a PC and use the RFX manager https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/rfxtrx#ser2net
I can see the switch fine…all button presses are registering correctly!

Any ideas?

Thanks

Update:
Ugs!
The clue was the output of the rfxtrx, showing capabilities!

For some reason the lightwaverf capability must have been toggled off! Rfxmanager toggle and “save” fixed it!
No idea how! It’s not been touch for 6 months!
Oh well cosmic rays or something! :joy:
