I hope someone can help here, I am migrating my setup from a Pi 4 to an Intel NUC and hitting a brick wall as to why this isn’t working as expected.
I have done a full backup on the Pi and restored it on the NUC. 90% of it worked straight away but there are some very weird issues.
First minor one I’ve noticed is that restart in server controls doesn’t do anything??
Not the MAJOR issue
Lots of my zwave/zigbee devices are no longer working!!
I use zwave2mqtt and zigbee2mqtt on mosquitto broker
Going into zwave2mqtt or zigbee2mqtt directly all devices function 100% so the issue is somewhere either in MQTT or home assistant OS itself.
The issue is strange, it seems to be only switch elements that have stopped working? For instance I have a plug socket, it shows power usage etc perfectly fine, can be turned on and off in zigbee2mqtt fine but its no longer switching in the front end.
Going into entities, every one that’s not working has the red circle exclamation icon on it, hovering on it says “restored”
I just don’t understand it, can anyone help please? My whole home setup is basically down at the moment now
Also I have 1 switch entity on an ESPHome, this also seems to have magically stopped working?
It seems some sort of switch entity issue on the home assistant front end? Dimmers still work as do other sensors like temperature etc it is only switches…
