I’m not sure what’s happened, but I’ve been unable to connect to the web UI for a while now. Just thought it might have been a bad version or something, but the web UI just won’t connect.
I’m running hass.io in docker on Debian buster. This was working when I first set it up and no changes have been made.
Clicking on the OPEN WEB UI button opens up a page with http://<my_url>:5050/. The odd thing is that my URL is https, and changing the url to https still does nothing.
Just checked mine - it’s setup with the defaults and works correctly. Did you check the port? Is the addon started? Anything in the logs? I have a sub domain for appdaemon and use https as well.
Wow. I think I just worked it out. I think I last checked out the web ui before I migrated my domain over from my old HA setup. I just went to ip_address:5050 and it worked.
Would be good if the link on the addon could be changed to the local ip address. It’s a shame this addon doesn’t use ingress…
I do not see the configurator on the Web UI after adding the HACS Miele component and updating the configuration.yaml and of course restart.
Not sure if is too obvious that I do not see it… Any help as where to see the Web UI Configurator is greatly appreciated. Thanks
P.S: running Docker version of HA on VMWARE… Not sure if I have requests_oauthlib library as part of my HA installation
