[Solved] Using UniFi integration with non-default site

Hi there,

I have been using the UniFi Network integration with HA over the last couple of years successfully with the UniFi controller’s default site. Fast-forward, we have moved and the new location got a new site in the UniFi controller.

Unfortunately, it seems to be impossible to select anything but the default site when configuring the UniFi Network integration in Home Assistant. Did I miss anything? How can I expose a non-default site to Home Assistant?

Thanks,
Thilo

It should be possible. At least it used to work. How are you running Unifi?

I’m running the UniFi Controller in a Docker container on a server located in a data center reachable via VPN. Both sites (the orphaned default site and the new one) are hosted by this very instance. HA does connect, but I nowhere see the option to select a site different from the default site while configuring the integration and only get entities from the default site.

When you run the flow you should get a step to select site, except if the site count is equal to 1, so its only one listed I assume

Hm, that’s very strange. I am almost certain that I do have three sites  :

Ah, had a permission issue. Had to enable access to all sites for the HA user. Consider this resolved.
