Also, when it comes to playing back my doorbell camera videos that I store in a media folder, I am unable to play them via the app, but I can via the website (either mobile or desktop).
When you say āthe web siteā, do you mean the Home Assistant web interface or the Music Assistant web interface? They are 2 different things and for me the Music Assistant web interface definitely has the choices you circled. They appear under the āLibraryā icon on my phone. You can also edit settings and remove choices you donāt want to see.
Iām especially confused by this statement when I see something in the app that is not in the dashboard. I guess that the āMediaā (or āMusic Assistantā) section is modified based on whether weāre in the companion app or a browser? I canāt fathom why this would be the case, but I guess it must be.
They have a lot of overrides in the frontend to do things like that. Take for example the html5 notification toggle. Itās is not visible if you are using the app because the feature wonāt work on the app.
For the record my media tab is missing a lot of what you have so probably coming from music assistant directly as I do not use that.
Yes, 100%. It is definitely coming from music assistant because I donāt have this content available to HA from any other integration. I just donāt know why it would be showing up only in the companion app. I tend to use HA just as much from my desktop at work as I do on mobile.
